To be able to develop ideas through exploration and experimentation. e.g. exploring colour through painting in art, exploring sound with a percussion instrument in music.

 

To be able to demonstrate some technical control when exploring and experimenting. e.g. develop holding grip of a pencil for art, be able to balance on one foot in dance.

 

To be able to identify the similarities and differences between their own and others’  creative works. e.g. comparing characters within nursery rhymes in drama 

 

To know that there are a wide variety of different forms of creative works across all disciplines

 

To be able to explore through the lens of different time periods, cultures, and places. 

 

To be able to question how a creative work was made.

 

To be able to explore how creators and performers communicate feelings and meanings.
